Tabla Track

Mapping: 1=Na, 2=Tin, 3=Ge, 4=Ke. Example loops: 1,2 x4 | 3,4 x2.

Sitar Track

Notes: Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Dha Ni. Example loops: Sa Re | Ga Ma x4.

How to use the composer

1. Write the Tabla track

  • Use 1 for Na, 2 for Tin, 3 for Ge, and 4 for Ke.
  • Example: 1 2 1 2 | 3 4 3 4 x2
  • | marks the start of a phrase. x2, x4, etc. repeat that phrase.

2. Write the Sitar track

  • Use notes: Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Dha Ni.
  • Example: Sa Re Ga Ma | Pa Dha Ni Sa
  • Loops work here also: Sa Re | Ga Ma x4.

3. Play and adjust

  1. Click Unlock Audio.
  2. Set Tempo and Instrument Volume.
  3. Click Play Mix.
  4. Click Stop to stop the instruments.

4. Record with microphone

  1. Click Enable Microphone and allow permission.
  2. Click Start Recording.
  3. Click Play Mix and sing/speak/play along.
  4. Click Stop Recording.
  5. Use the green download link that appears.

Recording note: browsers do not always permit direct MP3 recording. This page tries MP3 first and automatically falls back to WebM when needed. Microphone access normally requires HTTPS or localhost.

Important: true MP3 recording depends on browser support. This composer automatically chooses audio/mpeg first, then audio/webm. The built-in instrument samples are MP3 files.
